DrawingAggro is a spot on the Web for commentary on EVE Online, with a touch or two on other games when warranted. I’ll mix in some in-character [IC] and out-of-character [OOC] posts as I’ve always wanted to try out some fiction writing. In practice, this means the OOC stuff will stink, so be warned.

Furious is my original character, born in 2006, and as such has done a bit of everything from mining in 0.8 in an Omen (ah, the old days), to losing a sniper-fit Apoc to a Burn Eden camp (you know you’ve been in 0.0 when…), to missioning and ratting at all levels. Still my main, though it’s a close run affair at about 50% of the time I login. Currently dabbling in Amarr Factional Warfare, while helping Daniella pop some Sansha’s on the side. He just capped off HAV level 5 and and skilled up to full T2 armed Gallente battleships (really just for kicks).

Furious’ [IC] backstory is something like:

“Born in the backwaters of the Siyi system to an engineer in the employ of the Tash-Murkon Family. Furious grew up in a largely unremarkable family, until Furious’ father landed a job on the controversial reconstruction of the Tal-Romon Cathedral. As a thank you for loyal service, Catiz Tash-Mukron awarded Furious’ father a slot in the academy at Emrayur to his only son. ‘Furious’ is a nickname that stuck, the result of an unfortunate series of disciplinary actions during his academy days.

Post-academy, Furious worked hunting pirates for the Tash-Murkon’s, until venturing out to lawless space in the employ of a series of mixed-focus capsuleer corps and alliances. In his time Furious has lived and fought in the reaches of Providence, Geminate, Vale of the Silent, Syndicate, and Foundation, and of late the Bleak Lands. He calls Tash-Murkon Prime his permanent home. Furious considers himself more a patriotic nationalist, with less of the religious zeal common to True Amarr.”

No real story here – Daniella makes most of the ISK to keep Furious in ships, and is also a lot of fun to play around with a wide range of skills from trading to manufacturing, research agents, and so on. She loves flying the Nighthawk and just skilled up to fly full T2 fit Minmatar ships, just in case PVP ever calls.

Snow is on hiatus – she can fly a Hulk with a reasonable amount of competence, in the event I ever want to try mining again (unlikely, but you never know).
