Maybe this will prove an inspiring tale: apparently the legendary PT Barnum once found himself in possession of a truckload of unsellable canned white salmon. He plastered advertising around the town reading “Barnum’s White Salmon – Absolutely Guaranteed Not To Turn Pink In The Can”. He sold the lot.
